HIFIMAN called on us to envision their ultimate headphone product, the Shangri-La: a built-to-order electrostatic headphone and amplifier system without peer in the marketplace. The headphone used the same successful design platform that we envisioned for the HE1000, with new and distinguished materials and finishes. The amplifier is a pure visual expression of power, presence, and excellence. Our monumental cantilevered design was meant to captivate your eyes and imagination, while the rest of the system entranced your ears.
