Wrap It Up

For this throwback we are posting a product we designed 20 years ago for D’Addario. This reusable cable tie was created with musicians in mind, but it’s useful in many other situations where cables need to be organized. The inspiration came from thinking about how to simplify the user experience. We conceived the cable tie to work with D’Addario’s cables, making life easier for the end user. We designed this product in 2001 and It’s still on the market today. People like using it. Sometimes, a product takes on a life of its own when it’s simple and well-designed.
