Doubled Production

Doubled Production

We've doubled our production of 3D printed face shield frames for healthcare workers. Catalano Design is using an approved design from Swedish-based 3DVERKSTAN. The frame is quick to print and is designed to hold a letter sized plastic sheet. A three-hole punch can be used to create holes in the plastic sheet for simple assembly to the frame. Through our network we’ve become aware of hospitals that do not have enough face shields. This week we provided a supply to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam CT, Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge MA, and the Lincoln Hospital in Bronx NY. Thank you for your courageous service Jamie Barrette - daughter of Lisa Barrette our controller, Sharon Berte - wife of Garrett Avery, Senior Associate at Catalano Architects, and all front line medical workers!
